What you see is what you get! I have nothing but good feelings about this place. They do not pretend to be an up scale 'all show and no go' restaurant. They are down to earth conscientious people who not only provide good food they support a food pantry right outside of their store! How many ritzy places do that? 9-21-22 *update* added some pictures as well. Holy Smokes Bbq again. This time tried the sweet heat vinegar. They also do have a thicker rub but I didn’t realize so didn’t get it to try. This second time that we went it was Wednesday around 11:30pm. It hadn’t gotten busy yet. ____________________________________ Some of the best bbq IF you like your bbq vinegary. They have a mild-vinegar and a hot-vinegar. They also have a sweet option. My husband and I opted for the mild-vinegar. We loved it. I got a small sandwich deal with fries and a drink(Lunch deal). The small sandwiches are pretty small so you may want to get the large if you know you’ll eat a lot. I added coleslaw as well. Get the home cut fries, they are good. The vinegar sauce we got is a very thin sauce like liquid. It’s not your thick bbq sauce. Your buns may get soggy and fall a part but just grab a fork. I highly recommend this place. No complaints, good food especially the BBQ and the Burgers. Not much of a wait and the staff was very friendly.
I had the small pulled pork plate with two sides it was absolutely delicious the owner showed up after I was there for a few minutes taking a break from working on his tractor outside, great great man very nice and very respectful cannot recommend this place enough if you're in the area! The two young girls working in the front and the young boy that was in the back making the plates were also very very respectful and very kind:) 10/10

On September 5, 2020, I tried a hamburger based on a friends recommendation. He was right! This is now one of my favorite hamburgers in all of Jackson County! Ate here twice in the same day and also tried a smoked chicken plate with potato salad and baked beans and everything was great! Excellent flavor all around!
Brisket is top notch. Pulled pork had great smoky flavor and texture. Potato salad is unique and delicious. Awesome small, cozy atmosphere with friendly staff. Thick sauce is the best. If you like vinegar sauces the others are delicious too.
The food was good. We had the pork, fries, slaw and potato salad. Worth the money. Service was not worth it. Cashier not cordial, never smiled and did not appear to want to be there.
